DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to share a recap of the recent Professional Development (PD) session that took place in the picturesque landscapes of Issyk-Kul on May 12-13\, 2023. This event was a resounding success\, thanks to the participation and enthusiasm of dedicated educators\, key speakers\, and attendees. \nEvent Highlights: \nKarakol Session: In Karakol\, we witnessed an enriching PD session led by Dr. Derek Furr and Prof. Elizabeth Alibaeva. These sessions were designed to empower teachers to enhance their students’ writing skills. We are thrilled to report that around 40 enthusiastic teachers attended\, making the Karakol session a vibrant and engaging experience. \nCholpon Ata Session: In Cholpon Ata\, our event featured an informational session about the innovative MAT program\, presented by Ziyagul Sabyrova and Aikanysh Turdubaeva. We had a rich session full of insights and opportunities with teachers from Abdyrazakov School. The team shared valuable information about the MAT program and distributed program brochures. Additionally\, they collected contact information from all participants\, paving the way for future collaborations and program enrollment.
