We are excited to announce that the AUCA Institute of Education (IOE) is now co-designing and coordinating the Certificate in Education through GHEA21 – the Global Higher Education Alliance for the 21st Century – in partnership with Bard College.
This certificate program offers undergraduate seniors and graduate students a structured, internationally recognized pathway into the theory and practice of education. Whether you are preparing for a teaching career, pursuing graduate studies in education, or deepening your professional expertise, the Certificate in Education provides the foundational knowledge and applied skills to move forward with confidence.
The program covers:
- Lesson Design, Planning & Assessment
- Theory and Practice of Teaching
- Developing a Learning Environment
- A content-area elective in your field (math, science, literature, and more)
The first three core courses are offered through the GHEA21 global network, giving participants access to peers and faculty from partner institutions around the world. The elective may be completed through GHEA21 or at your home institution.
As a program co-designed by IOE AUCA – the institution that brought Central Asia its first dual-degree graduate program in teacher education – this certificate reflects our continued commitment to rigorous, globally connected education.
