Application to MAT

Admission Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in any field

• Good command of English:

  Duolingo – 100
  TOEFL iBT – 70
  IELTS – 5.5
  TOEFL PBT – 500

  Intermediate English or above required to be successful in an MA program.

Admission Process:

• submit the Application Package  by  February 1 for full consideration of scholarships

• MAT will contact short-listed candidates for an interview.

• Successful candidates will be notified of their acceptance or shortlisted status (for US Embassy scholarships) within four business days of the interview.

• Accepted candidates  formally register with the MAT

To complete enrollment with AUCA, there is a non-refundable fee due by May 15. Questions of financial aid and payment schedule will be determined at this stage.

Application Package

• Curriculum Vitae that clearly states all your educational and professional experiences. Omission of any study / work activity may lead to disqualification of the applicant.

• Statement of Purpose, a 1000-word essay describing your background and reasons for choosing the current Master’s program. Check the guide on AUCA’s WARC website for further information.

• The MAT Application Form.

• Official and notarized University Transcripts

Note: If you are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, please provide an official document from your institution confirming your enrollment status and expected graduation date. If you graduated from an institution outside of Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, or Belarus, you will need to obtain a Certificate of Equivalency from the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education. • Copy of passport ( plus visa for foreign applicants residing in KG)

• Two passport-style 3*4 color photos

• Two reference letters

There is no application fee. Please submit all forms and supporting documents online via the “Apply Now” button below.

Partial applications will not be considered for admissions.
